UPDATE

Thank-you all for your prayers. Alex had a little better night, but is still in tremendous pain. I have gotten him all settled in for the morning and I'm going to work for a little while. I can come home if he calls me. I am so blessed to work in a place where my boss and co-workers are so compassionate and understanding. I truly believe this is one of the ways that God is getting us through this trial. By providing me a place to get away for a few hours and do what I do best, but still being available to Alex. It is so important to Alex that I go each day, because he knows how much I enjoy it.

And this is what God promised us...not health and strength...but to meet our needs. And He does, and I praise Him for that.

I hope Alex is feeling better today. You really are lucky to have such an understanding boss. Prayers going up for you and Alex.

BTW, love the new design! Fall is in the air!

Oh Tonja!

I am so sorry your son is having such a difficult time! I am sorry I didn't read your post yesterday! I will keep you all in my prayers! It is so difficult when you feel helpless as a mother! I'm glad you are clinging to God through this trial!

Much love and prayers!

I have reminded the Lord of Alex and you many times since last evening. And I will continue to do so. Bless you, dear friend.

I'm just catching up with you Tonja and so sorry that Alex has been having such a difficult time - my prayers are with him and hopefully he will improve very soon.
As for you dear - I know you must be tired and frustrsated by all this. Try to get rest, the most important thing right now.
Enjoyed your 'shoe post', and love that crow shirt - you find cute things.
Thinking of you - sending hugs and best wishes for a good week ahead.
Mary.
