FALL, Y'ALL

I'm getting into the mood of fall. This morning, there is a touch of crispness in the air, and I love it. I love the colors and smells, and the feelings of fall. To me, it's a time of turning inward and refocusing on home and family....a time of beginning the 'snuggle down' time of winter. It's a time of long sleeves and sweaters, football games and fairs, harvest and Thanksgiving...a time of family. I welcome fall and all it stands for.

I like being able to wear long sleeves without sweating! It was cooler here too this morning, but I'm thinking it's pretty warm now.

I agree. I do love fall, but I wish it did not preceed winter. I really struggle with discouragement in the cold winter months. I think I was meant to live in the south. But I guess not, or God would have done something about it by now. I'm still hoping....someday.

I really agree, Jean. I struggle with my health in the winter. And just do not like the cold. Seems as I can never get warm.

I love fall, too! It's my favorite season for sure, but I agree with Jean as well! I am glad I will have my son in South Carolina soon, so I will have an excuse to leave this cold state of Michigan! My mood changes dramatically in winter and I don't like it! But... nothing like the smell of burning leaves and new beginnings! Tomorrow I want to make apple sauce! I want my house to smell cozy!

doesn't it just make you feel better to have all the fall stuff around the house?!

I LOVE IT too! I'm I'm loving these days that aren't in the TRIPLE digits for a change!
