Mom and Me
"I LOVE YOU, MOM"
You are the best,
I'd want no other.
You're the only one
I'd want for a Mother.
You understood
The likes of me.
And ssid,"It's fine
To just be me."
You showed me love,
You made me strong,
You kissed my hurts
And punished my wrongs.
Through you I learned
How love should be
I'm more than blessed-
You're Mom to me.
I pray my boys
Will someday say
They feel about me
This very same way.
Then I will know
I've done all right;
Cause Mom, you're perfect
In my sight.
