TOBACCO BASKET

TOBACCO BASKET

I hung this little sign I made on it to remind me to go the extra mile.

Beautiful - both the basket and the plaque. A great message!

Hugs!

Amen to what Kat said. Now I'm curious - what did they use it for? I grew up surrounded by tobacco farmers, but I don't recall tobacco baskets. I just remember of it being very labor intensive work, but I never actually helped. When I was 11 I babysat for the one neighbor family while the wife was out helping in the tobacco field.

Hi, Tonja, I just read the update on your son, Alex. I'm so sorry for what your family is going through with this. You sound like such a strong lady & you do know where to go for help, God alone. I know that you come to B'ham pretty often, so we will definitely have to meet up when you have time. Maybe not when you have Dr.'s to visit, but hopefully another good time.

And yes! I've been to Lamb's Ear. It's a great little shop, so I'm so glad you discovered it & it is right around the corner from the places I posted. I know you would love all those places too! I hope to get to meet you one of these day.

Hugs,
Rhoda

P.S. That tobacco basket is very unique. Love it hanging on the wall.
