PRAYERS, PLEASE

Tomorrow is the time for my Dad's surgery to repair his colostomy. He has been counting down the days and the hours and the minutes since Christmas. He is not the most patient of men, and this has been so hard on him and Mom. But, praise God, he has healed well and the doctor feels the time is right to put things back as they were. I would so appreciate your prayers in the morning. God is so good and we thank him for his healing mercies.

Thank you so much for stopping by yesterday - I love that quote. And yes, Max certainly does have a way with words. I would love to hear him speak sometime!

I read back a ways on your site and enjoyed each post so much - the blogger thing is an irritant to all of us, I believe. The sandal one was priceless. I have such UGLY feet!

I agree with you so much about PResident Bush. I get so angry with the media who absolutely will give him not one break, and I do believe in his relationship with God. I must remember to pray for him more often.

I also agree with you about Oprah. I believe she was raised by a Christian grandma, and that she knows all the "lingo", but she is so mixed up with so many other beliefs - she is pretty New Age-y a lot of the time. She does good things, but I wish she did them for God's glory rather than her own.

Well, enough said. Come back any time! I trust your dad's surgery went well. How did you happen upon my site?
