I do! I really do love blogging! But, lately, I have begun having 'spam' problems, and I do not like it! Actually, I keep getting these stupid comments from 'anonymous'...that are about all sorts of crazy things. I do NOT want to have the crazy letters for everyone to have to type in to comment. I, personally, despise those things. But, is there any other way to prevent it? I have some friends who comment as Anonymous...but then sign their name at the bottom.
I do not have time to mess with this right now. Christmas is upon us and I have better things to do than try to keep my blog site neat and tidy. I'm having trouble enough trying to keep my home neat and tidy! If you have a suggestion, please pass it along. I realize that, in the grand scheme of things, this is minor. But, it is really bugging this blogger.

Sorry, the only way I could keep it from happening was the letter things. Thanks for signing my blog even though you have to fill those annoying things in. I will watch for all your comments so I can see if anyone else has a suggestion.
I had to turn off my anonymous button. I am sorry you are having this problem. Hope you get it worked out.
I won't mind typing extra letters in. Those anonymous things are very, very annoying indeed.
That's a bummer. Why do people have to be like that? I will gladly type in letters to keep them out.

Tonja, I've been having the same problem with "anonymous" spam comments, and also with comments written in Chinese. I just keep rejecting them or report them as spam, for whatever that's worth.
I'm not sure if having to type the word verifications will keep them from posting or not, though.
It is definitely aggravating ... especially at this time of year!
I still allow anonymous comments, but I do the crazy letters I think.
Sorry about the spam! I am with Jennifer, I don't mind typing those letters at all to keep our "Gathering" spot neat and tidy. :)
Turn on your comments moderation. That way you will see all comments and you decide if you want them to be published to your blog. I had to do that a long time ago because ......well just because!!!

I don't mind the entering the letters. I mean yes, it can be annoying but obviously it protects as I've never got a spam comment. Maybe I don't get real comments because of it either. I hope that doesn't prevent you from commenting on my blog when I occasionally see you peaking in. :-)
