When our kids were little we lived in a big old house. We tore out a wall between two of the rooms and made a great, big family room. I kid you not, we painted the walls off white and all the trim, including the antique kitchen sink that we left in the corner, that very color that your picture shows. We LOVED that room. It was, just like I said, bright and cheery and warm.
gym locker. Is that bad? If it's in your house somewhere, I'm sure it's fab. I'm feeling a bit insecure today or I wouldn't have asked if that was bad...you get the picture. Just don't worry too much about that comment if it's in your house...think back to some of my purses! ;) Curious as to why you ask. Shani
PUMPKIN is the first thing that comes to mind. And since I love to cook and I'm a baker...the spices that go into anything made with pumpkin...Cinnamon, Ginger, Nutmeg.
Warmth, comfort, memories.
And...of course the PUMPKIN recipe I'm thinking of, will be on my blog in the morning...right before the post...COME TO JESUS.
I must apologize. I've been a bad blog friend. My days just have flown by and I can't seem to keep all the "balls in the air". But I'm trying. That's what counts, right?
I am a Christian woman who has survived 56 years on the planet. God has blessed me with a wonderful family: husband, 3 sons and a dear DIL. I also have dear friends to keep me inspired. I am an artist of sorts and am finding my way through the great blessing of retirement. I recently retired after 20 years as a music teacher.
Life is good!

First, what is that? I like the color, it reminds me of my kitchen cabinets and they're maple. So I like the color.

I second sassy. And, in my little design world, it's all the rage right now. So, I'd also say "hip".
Sassy. Chic. Warm.
Love it!!!
