SNOW DAY

OK...I realize that 'big' is relative...but for us here in the deep South...it's BIG!
Just indulge me...we're mighty proud of our 'big' snow. The last time it snowed any where near this amount was in 1993!

MORNING...

AFTERNOON...

Amazing how the snow in my yard managed to form this lovely heart!!! Imagine that!!
I wonder if it has anything to do with my blog posts this week...

So pretty, isn't it. This born-and-raised Iowa girl hasn't seen this much snow in 14 years. I had to drive home in it at about 3 this afternoon but the roads were only wet and not slick. Much prettier from the comfort of my sofa with a fire going, though!

not sure where you are...but in Brandon, MS we awakened with 5 inches. It was really beautiful.
We did enjoy, but don't think we would want to live in it like.....Baltimore,MD....poor people.

Aawww, Tonja if I didn't know any better, I'd think you were fibbing about that mysterious heart showing up. ;-)

Lovely pictures. Really like the one of the snow falling with your pool. Really like how you captured it falling. Ice cicles on your lounge chairs is really cool. I've not taken many pictures. We have a couple feet in areas. Some mounds reach 6' in parking lots and such.

Love the picture of the pool, I don't think I have ever seen snow falling on a pool, the pools are always drained here before winter. Stay warm!

Hey - - - the ground is WHITE, that qualifies as a snow!!!!

I'm glad you got to experience it this winter.

So peaceful.

So quiet.

So sparkly.

I JUST LOVE IT.

I'm so glad you got a little snow!

The photo of it snowing into the pool is just lovely, like two worlds mingling into the most beautiful of both.

This may be one of the only times you will get a picture of your pool with snow around it! Isn't it pretty though?

We got a few inches here too but the sun is shining and it is leaving as fast as it came!
