SIMPLE PLEASURES

My friend, Angela, at Love Being A Nonny made a list of simple pleasures...thought I'd join her, and make my own list of 'happy things'...

1. Diet Dr. Pepper...

2. Clean, crisp, soft, good-smelling sheets!

3. Sunshine...lots of sunshine...shining on ME!

4. Warm syrup on pancakes.

5. A note out of the blue from one of my boys!

6. New magazines in the mailbox.

7. Girl Scout Cookies...Tag-a-Longs to be exact!

8. Getting to order a pizza the way I want it...no pepperoni...no sausage...no peppers.

9. Heated seats in the car...Ahhhhhh!

10. Loving on JT, my grand nephew!

And, these are some pictures that also make me smile...

YESSSS, TO EVERY SINGLE ONE. And I think I'M that sheep who can't keep in step, and is always frisking away from the flock, though I DO believe my high-jump days may be over.

And I just burst out laughing at the little SuperDog! Chris looked up from his book and I described it. Reckon he changes behind a teensy fire hydrant?

I didn't even know about heated seats until a few years ago. My father in law was tired from driving and we changed seats so I could drive....when I sat down I asked him if he had a fever because the seat was so hot! But boy did it feel good on some old hips!

What a delightful post, Tonja. I loved the pictures and share several of your "happy things" [Dr. Pepper (not diet), clean sheets, sunshine, new magazines, and heated car seats!]

Hope your Sunday is filled with some, if not all of your "happy things."

We could be best friends in real life...but I would have to learn to like Dr. Pepper!!!

Everything else I could say DITTO to!!!

By the way, do you know Leah from *Sweet Tea Please* in real life? I do. She use to live here and work at the christian school where I worked. Just wondered.
