MY QUESTIONS...prologue

Dear Friends,
The following 2 posts are about the funeral of my Mother. I know they are long, but there was much to say. I write them as a reminder for my children in years to come. If you choose to read them, please scroll down and read Part 1 first.

Your kindnesses through the last few days has been so appreciated. It is stored forever in my heart.

Just read through all your posts. What a precious tribute to your mother. You will be so glad that while it was still fresh in your mind, you wrote it all down. Your boys are blessed that you want them to always remember her!

I hope you received my card. I wanted to let you know that I care and I am praying for you during this oh so difficult time.

Tonja, I can only imagine how difficult this week has been for you and your sweet family. Your loving journal of the past few days is a beautiful tribute to your precious mother.

It sounds as if there were many "sweet, sweet spirits" there to honor your mother and her life's work of serving her Lord.

May God hold you close and comfort you, Tonja, in the days to come.

Hey Mrs. T-
I was so sad to hear that you're precious Momma has gone home to be with Jesus, but at the same time I had to rejoice, because I KNOW she is right where she has always desired to be in the end of her days. I am very sorry I could not be there for the Funeral, but we are FINALLY back in Germany. Praying for you always.

Being up here in the northwoods on vacation, I did not realize you had lost your mom. I just found these posts today. I'm so sorry you are going down this most difficult road.

My heart goes out to you, as I know it is very hard to lose a mother. Your posts were beautiful and very well spoken. In a time of grief, sometimes it is hard to see the good, but you have done just that in your posts. Praying for you and your family!
