WHO CAN GOD USE?

God has a plan for each of us and desires to use us to accomplish His work. Too many times we feel we are not worthy to be used, or simply, "not good enough." Next time you think that...just remember this:

NOAH was a drunk
ABRAHAM was too old
ISAAC was a daydreamer
JACOB was a liar
LEAH was ugly
JOSEPH was abused
MOSES had a stuttering problem
GIDEON was afraid
SAMSON had long hair and was a womanizer
RAHAB was a prostitute
JERIMIAH and TIMOTHY were too young
DAVID had an affair and was a murderer
ELIJAH was suicidal
ISAIAH preached naked
JONAH ran from God
Naomi was a widow
JOB went bankrupt
PETER denied Christ
The DISCIPLES fell asleep while praying
MARTHA worried about everything
The SAMARITAN WOMAN was divorced...more than once
ZACCHEUS was too small
PAUL was too religious
......AND..............
LAZARUS was dead!

What's your excuse?

I know I do often "have an excuse" as to why God couldn't possible use me. Satan always seems to attack in this area.

I often have to remind myself that God CAN use me and He DOES use me.
I am so thankful that He does use us...what else is there in life, if not to be used by our Father!

Thanks for the reminder

I love that! My excuse would probably have to be lazy...I'm ashamed!

this post was good and some actually made me laugh out loud. I would have to agree with Jean that my excuse is being TOO BUSY!!! Or maybe a better word would be overwhelmed!

You've been in my thoughts and prayers as I've quickly checked in on your posts.

I guess He can use this common girl, then!
Isn't that just SO crazy who He can use...Anyone and everyone!

Thanks, Tonja!

What a great reminder. I pray daily that God will let my "light shine" so others will see Him in me.

Hugs!
