SNOW?...NO!

It's Thursday...the day we were looking for snow to blanket our little corner of the world. The day the kids were counting on building a snowman. But is it white out my window? Sorry to say, it didn't happen.

We did get ice on the trees...

...and, frost and ice on the ground...

...but, the only snowmen around here, will be the ones on my mantle!

Ice is not good for those who are driving. Love your friends on the mantle.

I'd gladly e-mail/FedEx/UPS you about a ton of this on our back lawn, down the drive, and crusting Caro's car.

I wish you HAD got a good stickin' for the kiddos to enjoy building a snowman---I built a few over the years in my Southern childhood, but they were sorta grubby-looking. I don't think there's ever a snowman down there that's not half leaves and sticks, anyway. They always look like that Dirt Pudding with all the oreo bits stirred in. Or an Oreo Blizzard at Dairy Queen.

Stay Warm!!

Tonja, I have been straining my eyes trying to see some snow outside our windows today, too, but all I see is a cold, wet, and dreary day. Oh, well ... maybe we will get some snow before spring gets here.

It was a nice day to "hibernate," though, wasn't it!

It would appear that WE got your snow up here.

I wondered if you would get it. WE DID!

Too bad. The kids in Dothan would have loved it.

And it warmed up! But it's raining here and if it turns cold enough maybe we still have a slight chance!
