HEADING NORTH and CHRISTMAS PICTURES...Part 3

OH. MY. GOODNESS. I am actually getting ready to head NORTH in this DEEP FREEZE weather we are having!!! Oh! the things we do for our children! Just kidding....Joy and I are headed to Birmingham this morning to take Alex for another eye surgery. If all goes well, this will be the last one....for him. Adam still has one more to go also! Whew! At least we can see the end in sight,, God willing.
We have all our warmest clothes, and our hats and gloves...and off we go! Surgery tomorrow...

And...here is the final group of our Christmas pics...until Adam gets the ones ready from Don's side of the family...

FYI: Yes, I do own shoes. No, I did not have them on. It came down to a choice between the shoes...or smiling...

FYI 2: Yes, I have taught my boys to tuck in their shirts for special occasions...like pictures being made for posterity...but, they tend to follow example rather than words, and go for comfort, instead! But, hey...2 out of 3 ain't too bad!!!

Tonja ... Those are absolutely wonderful pictures of all of you, but I think my favorite is the close up of your sweet dad. What precious keepsakes for all of you. Did Adam take the pictures? They look professionally done.

My thoughts and prayers will be with Alex as he has his last surgery tomorrow. I'll be thinking of you and Joy, too. I know it will be a long day for all of you.

Take care and let us know how things go.

I absolutely love these pictures. It's hard to pick a favorite - they're all so good. The first one - shirts untucked and bare feet - is so natural.

Good luck to Alex on his surgery. Have a safe trip.

I will be praying for Alex. The pictures are awesome. I especially like the one with the three of them looking off in another direction. It's perfect, get that put on canvas! I never have shoes on! Stay warm, travel safe....

First of all...I love that you don't like shoes...I now KNOW we are sisters!! I can tolerate socks if I have to in the cold weather...but please don't make me wear shoes...inside at least.

Secondly, these are wonderful pictures of a truly amazing family. I love them all...but of course YOUR dad is so unbelievably precious, he is a darling man. You can tell he is a gentle spirit...what a joy he must be.

Thirdly, I will keep you, Alex and your sis in my prayers as you travel to have Alex's surgery. Praying that all goes well and that you, Alex and Joy will be snuggled in your own beds very soon. Praying for healing and a successful surgery for Alex.

Keep us posted.

Blessings to all...
Teresa

Tonja..I love the one of you and your dad and Joy. He is such a strong man and I am always blessed when we have a chance to visit. Thanks for sharing all of these. It is good to see Alex looking stronger. I still want to see the new house sometime.
