You deserve it. Great job. I have a post coming up tomorrow with so many rewards I received today I could scream. Oh I love them and appreciate them but they are way too much work. I'm not following the rules anymore!

I've seen your lineup of awards, be it for fun or for the good things that you do, and this one seems to truly reflect your principles and standards.
I've read your blog, start to finish, along with the special stories of your sons, and I can't tell you how impressive are your credentials as a HUMAN BEING.
I looked up two things which have also impressed me as guideposts, and they are the Boy Scouts' Oath and Law:
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
. . . . .
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.
A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly,
courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty,
brave, clean, and reverent.
----------------------------
And then there is the oath taken by knights, pledging their lives and sacred honor to their cause:
Good and true, reverent generous, shield of the weak,
Obedient, courteous, champion of the Right and Good.

I can think of only two people I know who personify all the precepts and moral codes of those two ideals.
I'm married to one of them, and I haven't met the other one yet, but I read her blog and her character every day.
