Thought I would share a little of my Easter decor with you. Here is that cute Lila Bunny who followed me home from Moutrie, and you can see the garland that we had to work hard to get! But, it was worth it! I love it all put together. This is on the foyer table coming in my front door.

The weather here was yucky today. It was pretty bad this morning with tornados and severe thunderstorms all around us. The weather folks say it will be the same for the next few days. Not my first choice of weather for the end of my Spring Break! However, since there are a few projects I want to complete inside...maybe it is a good thing after long as there is NO lightning! That would totally distract me.

I also found out a childhood friend of mine was buried today. I do not have any of the details. I spent many nights at her home...we grew up together...and played together...and went to school together. I wish I had known earlier so I could be at her funeral.

So sorry to hear about your friend. I've been transplanted multiple times between four different states - - - I'm afraid I have lost touch with nearly ALL my growing up years friends.

I am so sorry about your friend. I am sure you have many fun memories of your times with her. Probably sucked the wind right out of you to find out. My heart is heavy with you.
Sorry to say it is lightning, which means a great day to get those few things done. Just turn up the volume on your ipod (do you have one?) or on your radio until you can't hear it! We need to catch up soon. I miss our time together that I cherished so much last year.

Tonja, I'm so sorry about your friend.

I love your Easter garland. It's so cute and the burlap-looking fabric is a nice touch.

Hope you don't get any bad weather. Stay safe!

I'm sorry to hear about your friend---time and distance don't really erode the wonders of a childhood friendship, do they?

And your table---what a lovely salad array, for your new bunny!
Just perfect for your house and for the season.
