THIS IS A HARD BOOK !

This is one book that I am having lots of trouble getting through! I joined a week or so ago. And before I knew it, there were friends coming from everywhere. That part I love. But, then I started getting 'gifts', and 'luck' and questions about things I still am not sure of. Someone wants me to be their 'top girl', and there are quizzes and notes and I am just in a constant state of bewilderment!

I will learn about this. I will learn about the little round cute buttons, and I'll learn what a 'poke' is. I really will. Just please don't be offended and think I am ignoring you. Some brains take a little longer to get into the groove of new technology than others. I promise I'll join your group, or send you a 'poke' or something equally as clever just as soon as I learn how.

I know what you mean...how crazy is it that we both joined at about the same time...I'm still thinking we were separtated at birth.

Yea, I haven't figured out all the lingo either...I'm not sure about the pokes...kind of sounds a bit "randy" to me...makes me think of the line from Lonesome Dove from Robert Duvalls character...and that wasn't a really good thing...I suppose...maybe it's kind of like a nudge to get somebody started posting more...and what's with people sending me IQ test on this thing...and then I read where one of my new pals thinks I'm not so smart...hmmmph...I won't dignify that with any type of IQ test! And then somebody (obviously somebody who has lost their marbles has a crush on me)...hmmmm...maybe my hubbin is lurking...can YOU lurk in Facebook? See, I'm like you...way too many questions and things to learn...I like blogging best, too...but it has been fun to see who has come out of the woodwork in such a short time...

Thanks for being my friend on FACEBOOK...and here in blogland!

Blessings....

Yep. I have actually thought about unfacebooking for some of the same reasons.

And after "observing" others' Facebooks, I have decided NOT to join for those same reasons. It seems way too random to me. Hubby loves it though. I THINK a "poke" is just a "shout out" of sorts.

I'll be your friend - it's still confusing to me too, but so much fun!

I've tried to tell everyone that the only reason I even got on Facebook was to stalk my child.....I do like the little buttons though.

I love and hate Facebook. I has been a fun way to connect with my family members who do not blog, as well as my former students.

But many times it reminds me of junior high school for some reason. It's always telling me every little thing my friends are doing, even when they get comments from people I do not even know. I am finding ways to lessen some of that annoying stuff. The best one was last week after my sister joined last week. I got a message that said, "Nine of your friends are now friends with Doris Witmer Fahnestock." Was I supposed to be jealous????

I love Facebook. I just hit ignore to all of those weird application requests. They just take too much time. I enjoy catching up with people that I don't otherwise get to see while I am busy being a mom.
I would love for you to go to my blog and click on my Facebook link. I can't find you without a last name.
Smiles!

Girl, I KNOW what you mean. I joined, but I still don't like it as much as blogging. Maybe I will once I figure it out. One you learn about all that "stuff" you mentioned, can you teach me? Seriously. Write another post or e-mail me. I need help.

Hugs!
