PSALM OF PRAISE

O, God, you are magnificent!
You, alone, are the Master Creator!
The waves in the ocean pound out praises to You as they roll onto the shore!

The flowers send out their alluring fragrance...
Reminding all who wander by to stop and breathe it in.

The wind blows all of Your creation-
The palms dance against the bluest of skies.
The clouds gather to offer shade-
As the birds sing out of Your glory.

The flowers wear their most beautiful shades of color to delight our eyes.

Only You, O God, could cause such beauty, and peace, and contentment to reside in this one place.

The fruits of the trees outdo each other
as they produce crop after crop of delicious offerings:
Pineapple, papaya, mango, banana, coconut.
What a delicious feast You set for us!

The fish in the ocean:
The mahi-mahi, the ahi, the opaka- so sweet to the taste.
A most generous gift from you.

The sky above it all pulls out its most awesome colors...
It paints with blues and oranges, and yellows, and pinks, and blackest of all blacks.
It covers this beautiful island with its canopy of beauty.
It shouts to all the greatness of our God.

This mere observer and partaker is humbled and awed...and so very grateful.

OH MY WORD! One, these are gorgeous creations of God. Two, you are an excellent photographer. You either have an excellent eye or a fabulous camera. These pics are SO good they look FAKE. You know like they are web downloaded or something.

I love the yellow flower in the water pot.

I LOVE the simplicity of the messed up shoes in the sand with the glasses "tossed" aside.

Oh my, oh my.

SOOOO very breathtaking.

Thanks, Tonja.

Ha, ha, ha! I had to laugh when I saw Paula's comment about the pictures looking fake, because that's what I said earlier this week when you posted some pictures from Hawaii. It's true - the beauty is just INCREDIBLE!! I love that close-up of the palm leaf and the SKY!! It surely declares the glory of God!

I was so happy to read how your family took care of Alex with so much love while you were gone. What a wonderful blessing.

Wow Tonja...great post and great pictures.

I read you post about Alex last night, I think, (although I don't think I posted a comment) and like Jean, I am thrilled that everyone took such good care of him while you were gone. I know that is such a huge blessing for you and I'm glad he was able to enjoy time with them as well. Thanks for that update and for letting us know.

Love you,
