OVERWHELMED

I am so excited about my trip to Maui...big surprise, huh? BUT...it is really coming at a bad time. I am feeling so overwhelmed by the prospect of moving...and finishing up the packing. Plus there are still so many decisions to make. Today we had to go and pick out another sink and fixtures for the pool bath. I have wanted this bath to be fun...and a little different from the rest. And one of the things I have been looking for is a funky table to set a vessel sink on. I have looked everywhere I know to look. When I opened my eyes this morning...they stopped on a perfectly funky old table.....right there in my bedroom! Why, oh why am I looking the town over for what is right under my nose! I suppose I am thinking about finding something else...instead of looking at what I already have. I know there is a big, important lesson in those last 2 sentences. And, I am sure you, sweet friends, can pick it out. But, at this point, I have to go and unload that table, get it into my car...get it over to the Creek House...but first I have to unload the 8 bags of clothes that are in my car to be taken to the thrift store...and Scooter needs to go to the vet this morning...and I have to be at work by 8:15. Something's gonna be left undone...and I need to finish packing before I leave on Friday AM!

Maybe this is a good time for a trip to Maui after all!

I get the message and am smiling. So when do we get to see a picture of this table. I have a friend leaving for Maui this Friday, and one that just got back from Maui. What is this travel to Hawaii time and unfortunately it's not Elizabeth travel to Hawaii time. LOL. You have lots on your plate. As soon as you walk into that airport, take a deep breath and know that God's got your back always.

Take a deep breath friend, now just do the next thing! I can't imagine all that you are facing right now. Put Sing Over Me in the CD player and enjoy the breeze with the windows down! I do think this trip will do wonders to refresh your precious heartl that gives and gives!

Sometimes we do look so very hard...only to find what we were looking for IS right under our nose. I feel that way more and more every day! Especially in the last few weeks w/everything going on! So glad you found the perfect piece for your pool house...reminds me of a house we looked at a while back...it had a pool house, too...and in that pool house was a urinal...took me aback...but hey, it wasn't such a bad idea...it also had a toilet and shower...but it was the urinal and the bright turquoise walls that stood out for me!!

Friend, just take a deep breath...you DESERVE this break...and you know everything will be alright while you are away and relaxing...AND things will still be back home for you "to do" when you return...so please take the time to relax, have fun with your honey, make lots of memories and remember to take gobs of pictures, too!

Blessings and Aloha my friend...
