THE WEEK AHEAD...

This is the week. It has finally arrived, and I just hope I am ready.

Tonight is my final Christmas program. And 2 more days of school after that. They began filling the pool on Saturday. It still has a ways to go, but looking great! Final touch ups at the Creek House tomorrow and Tuesday...and then Friday and Saturday we can start moving things in. The movers, however, will not come until the 22. Plans now are to spend Christmas Eve in the Creek House for the first night! How exciting to wake up in my new home on Christmas morning!

But, there are miles to go till then...

Lord, give me strength, and health, and flexibility...along with a sense of humor...
I have the feeling I am going to need it! Pray for me, friends!

What an incredible Christmas morning you and your family will experience...it will be the gift that gives for many years to come...much like what happened on Christmas morning centuries ago, in a manger, in a far away land called Jeruselum, a gift for all of us to share, the gift of life eternal was given to any one of us that believes in that miracle...hmmmm, this gives me chills. What a blessing it will be opening your eyes after a beautiful nights rest at the Creekhouse! I think God knew JUST the right date for you to move in!

I will keep you in my prayers...I know all that I have to do and I get a little panicked just thinking about all of it...I can imagine what you're going through. I do know though that you will handle it with much grace, appreciation, fun and many, many laughs along the way. Enjoy the ride!

Good luck with your programs...they will certainly help pass the time! :)

Blessings...

This is beyond exciting! Prayers are my Christmas gift to you and your family as you move on to a new phase in your life. Wish I could be there to lend a hand, but I know you have wonderful friends and family around you and it will get done in God's time. Merry Christmas!

Oh Tonja - I'm so excited. It seems like the Creek House was built pretty quickly - maybe it doesn't seem that way to you. How exciting your first night there will be Christmas Eve. I can't wait to hear all about it. And yes, stay healthy and keep your sense of humor at the ready. It does seem to help in all situations, doesn't it?
