Today is a day for prayer, my friend. Prayers for our country, prayers for our current leadership and the administration soon to take over. ((((hugs))))

I didn't hear the results last nite, so when we woke up this morning I asked my husband to turn on the t.v. and when I heard I immediately said, turn it off, I'll be in bed for the day. If only. I think we're going to have to pray, pray and pray more!

That's what my friend Barbara, who has stage 4 colon cancer. I choose to take her attitude!!! After all, God is still on His Throne!

I know, this was not my choice either. Have faith my friend, and put it in God's hands...

God bless our military who are fighting for our country, for our freedom, for our wonderful country. Leaving their families and friends, not knowing "if or when" they will see each other again. May the Lord walk beside us and guide us.

Blessings, Mel

We have to give it to God!! Hand it over to him. "Relax God is in Control" Pray to God that it's his battle not ours.
Sad!

Many Blessings to you and your family my friend

We know that God wasn't surprised at the outcome of the vote. He has given the US what they think they want. Let us pray, my friend and as John said "Even so, Lord Jesus, come quickly."

What we have to remember is God hears our prayers and sometimes he answers them in ways that are hard for us to understand. Perhaps some of today's prayers and prayers in the foreseeable future need to be to help each of us accept the electoral decision and to do whatever we can to help unify the country and to make it as strong and wonderful as we can. Sniping and complaining or hiding under the covers is not going to improve anything. Remember the wise adage that when God closes a door, he usually opens a window. Look for the open window. Help each other find the open windows and use these blogs to support our country. After all it really isn't about red states or blue states or Republicans or Democrats, it's about making America as great for the next generation as it has been for us. Prayer is essential but those prayers need to ask for help in getting our hearts in the right place so that we can make the difference our country needs.

Hey, Tonja, come on over to my blog and listen to the song that ministered to the hearts of the grandparents at my school today. It will just make you cry some more, ha, ha! But it will be good tears.

Your simple post sums up my feelings too. I have had a struggle today. I know God is in control, but today has been hard.
