Mom and Pop came over to see Alex soon after he returned home today. Here he is showing then a video of his doctor's instructions. He can actually see that small screen!
This shows just how happy he and his granny are! A precious pic!
Alex and Don enjoying the backyard! The first time he has really seen it all at once.
Showing off the pool to Granny and Pop.
He has to patch one eye or the other to correct the double vision for now. On Thursday, he will get his glasses with prism to correct that. Also, he has to sleep in goggles at night to avoid putting any pressure on the eyes. Cannot get them wet or touch them for 2 months! Sooo worth it!
Sweet Granny made Alex a big pan of her famous macaroni and cheese. And an angel food cake with strawberries. Yummy! Hoping he's gonna share! :)

Tonja, it's so good to see Alex's beautiful smile ... and your pretty mom's, too!
Best wishes for a weekend filled with more good things to celebrate.

The look on all their faces...says it ALL!! I just love the way your mom & pop are so intently looking at Alex's computer...thingy...you can just see the LOVE all around each of them...AND the smile on Alex's face...it could light up a room! I am so THRILLED beyond words for all of you!
Blessings...

Great photos. I can see the joy in everyone's eyes. Your Mom looks so good. Is she all better now? I hope so.
Hugs!

Your parents are so precious! I miss mine so much. I just have to giggle when I see your cute daddy and imaging him riding a motorcycle and all the funny stories that you have told us about that!
Next to you and hubby and of course Alex......his grandparents are probably the happiest! Because when YOU'RE children hurt, you hurt, and both hurt them! I'm so thrilled for you all!
