PROMISES

I came across this little poem years ago, when I was a young mom. I have always loved its rhythm and choice of words, but especially its message. So many times people think that just because you love the Lord, you should be immune from hurts and trials. But, that is not what He promised us. We may go through the fire...but we won't have to go alone. And that's a promise!

  5. Me again. When I came to your blog today, I realized that somehow I had missed a whole bunch of your posts. I think life got in the way of my blogging lately. Anyway, I trust Adam is still doing well. Hope so.

  7. Thank you for sharing that poem. I needed to read it. I buried my 29 year old daughter Monday. She had a rare form of muscular dystrophy. I miss her so much. I feel the presence of God with me during this difficult time.

  8. Hi there! I'm home...finally...and it's so nice. I'm sorry though that you've had such a rough time with your cough. I hope by now you're feeling much better.

    Hugs!
