You are so open hearted and kind sharing your feelings. I loved the photos your are sharing with us. Just look at those wonderful smiles on your faces! Your memories will only grow stroger and sweeter as the time goes by. I lost my Dad in 1996 He died, like your Mom, with no notice at all. No good-byes, no last anythings. He was at peace living with God in my fast second. I have always given thanks to God to be allow to have that knowledge. No pain, no suffering. It does make it easier down the road knowing all this. I was just lost and confused when he left so fast. Strokes and heart attacks are deadly and strike so fast. Like you, I give thanks daily to God for allowing me to have...a smiling Dad. I think we're pretty close to being classified as shopaholics, and we LOVE to go places together. Since my stepfather passed away and my oldest child was born seven years ago, we've taken Mama on most every single vacation we've taken...everywhere from New Jersey to Disney World. I hope we are as blessed as you and your mom to have so much fun together for many, many years to come. Sending prayers your way....I know you miss her so much.Melissahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09252521238837885452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6466957025274689346.post-28533013719725659122009-08-08T17:15:21.450-05:002009-08-08T17:15:21.450-05:00O.K. she who does not cry, just cried again! We took mama to NC a few years ago (my sisters and I) and I'm so glad we did it then because it wasn't long that she couldn't make a trip like that....now she can't travel at all. You did so many things with your mama!!! Plus, heaven is so much better than NC!! :)nancygraycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05288996419936475583noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6466957025274689346.post-71032946098193099952009-08-08T16:40:59.882-05:002009-08-08T16:40:59.882-05:00Beautiful post.
